Teriana continues to improve her English skills at SBCC. Each Sunday morning Teri is in heaven while supervising the toddler program for the Unitarian Society.
Maripaula works hard in her classes: Plant Biology, Chemistry and French. A transfer to a University looms in her future. A wonderful new friend Salvador brings fun and laughter to us all.
Jeremy is finishing his senior year at SB High and seeking early enrollment at Princeton with UC San Diego running a close second. His volleyball career continues to flourish on all levels. Be sure to check with me about his SBHS VB season which gets going in late February.
Char is in her junior year at Chico State where she is majoring in Recreational Administration. She is working part time as a volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club Teen Center putting on a leadership after school program. Upon graduation, she hopes to find work in the area of Therapeutic Recreation.
Chris has diminished some of his community services to spend more time with Mom and Dad and family. Casebeer & Company had a strong year in closing nine escrows. www.ChrisCasebeer.com has been updated and revitalized. Chris was awarded Finalist as the Best of Santa Barbara Realtor in the Independent 2006 Readers’ Poll.
Art and Julie Casebeer continue the valiant effort of independent living in Laguna Beach. At ages 97 & 91 they are coping very well in facing life’s challenges and are determined to live their days out in their own home.The surprise trip for us this year was to Andalucia, Spain where we visited Teriana’s family for three adventure filled weeks….Madrid, Sevilla, Granada, Cordova and Ronda. The highlight of the trip was our time we spent with Mami, Papi, Juan Carlos, Mayte, and Moira.
