Two questions I'm always asked by buyers and their agents are: how long has the property been on the market, and have there been any offers? Why do they ask? When a property first comes on the market buyers know that sellers are less likely to reduce their price when the house is being shown three times a day. However, once the initial wave of activity diminishes, then fewer and fewer people will come to look. If you think things will improve with time, you could lose your best offer.
